As a ministry and community outreach of Mount of Olives Lutheran Church, the Adult Day Care
Center reaches out to the southern Orange County seniors with mild memory impairment.
Located on the church campus, we provide a safe, secure and invigorating environment for
all seniors, particularly those with special needs.
The program runs Monday through Friday 9:00a.m.—3:30 p.m. We host about twenty seniors daily.
They participate in a variety of activities including, exercise, art, singing, trivia, games,
crafts and bingo. Each day is different and follows the theme of the week. The
goal of our activities is to keep seniors talking, thinking and moving,
allowing them to continue doing as many normal activities as possible.
Time at the center allows the caregiver some “down time” as well as the ability to
continue with their daily activities . We have a Caregiver Support Group open to the community,
on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 9:15a.m.
The Mount of Olives Adult Day Care Center, through its faith in action, strives to
meet the needs of the whole person regardless of age, ethnicity or creed. Within a spiritual
environment, we strive to maintain each person’s dignity, individuality, mental stimulation,
and positive social interaction. By upholding our Christian principles, we are serving our
Lord, one another, and our community.
